This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage for electronics products purchased from our retail stores, website or mobile application.

What is a Manufacture Warranty?

A manufacturer warranty is a promise from the manufacturer to the buyer, ensuring that the product meets defined quality and performance standards. It offers protection for a specified period, providing repairs, replacements, or support if the product does not function as intended during normal use.

Warranty Duration:

Our warranty policy ensures coverage for defects in material, design, and workmanship arising after product purchase. Products purchased from Sharaf DG come with a 24-month manufacture warranty, applicable within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What is Not Covered:

This Warranty Policy does not cover the following categories:

  • Any consumable product (example batteries, Printer Printheads, ink/toners, bulbs, CDs, remotes etc.)
  • The warranty for accessories and peripherals with the primary product such as batteries, chargers, headphones, remotes, cables etc. is subject to the manufacturer's warranty policies, as outlined in the product manual.
  • Warranty Start Date

    The warranty for the product begins with the receipt date as mentioned on the Sales Invoice.

    Warranty Service Providers

    The warranty provided for the product sold by Sharaf DG is exclusively issued by the manufacturer and is limited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) region, unless otherwise specified in the warranty terms accompanying the product or outlined on the product manual or on their official website. Customers can contact the authorized warranty service provider directly for assistance.

    Sharaf DG acts solely as a facilitator for the warranty and maintenance services provided by the warranty service provider. Responsibilities related to spare part availability, repair duration, repair quality, repair costs, and any compensation or complaints fall under the warranty service provider. For any complaints or concerns with the service providers, customers can contact the Sharaf DG call center or customer care.

    How to Make a Warranty Claim

    For products bought from Sharaf DG store or online:

  • Customers can directly contact the manufacturer or the authorized service provider as per the manufacturer's policies and guidelines.
  • Alternatively, for carry in products*, customers can bring the product to any Sharaf DG store with the original invoice received by the customer on his/her registered email ID/Phone Number.
  • Proceed to the Customer Service desk within the store and inform them that you would like to service the product under your warranty claim.
  • For home delivered products like Major Domestic Appliance, Large Televisions (above 65 inches). Customers can contact the manufacturer/warranty service provider or call Sharaf DG Call Centre 8001240467
  • When Warranty Becomes Invalid?

    This Warranty Policy becomes invalid for the following cases:

  • Damage caused by accident, liquid, physical damage, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized service center modification.
  • Damage caused by power surges or other electrical fluctuations.
  • Damage caused by the use of accessories that are not compatible with the product.
  • Damage caused by environmental factors, such as moisture, extreme temperatures, or pests.
  • Software issues resulting from installed applications or malware.
  • Damage such as paint defects, scratches, and issues resulting from unauthorized installations or modifications not approved by the manufacturer.
  • General Terms and Conditions

    The repair or replacement of a product under this warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period. The applicable warranty terms remain in accordance with your product manufacturer.

    Warranty repairs may take up to 14 working days for issues covered under the warranty. This period excludes the time needed for spare parts to arrive from the manufacturer, as well as any delays due to official holidays. Products submitted to Sharaf DG stores for service may require an additional 4 to 7 days for processing, which is not included in the above repair period. The period of receiving or delivering home maintenance requests is not counted as part of the repair time. The warranty provides repair or replacement of defective spare parts for manufacturing defects but does not include full replacement or refunds. Failures arising from conditions outlined in the "Warranty Invalid" section are not covered. If your product is unrepairable but remains under the manufacturer's warranty, Sharaf DG will either issue a replacement from the same seller or provide a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.

    Service Policy

    All Software and Data are of Customer's responsibility, please back up all the data before submitting for repair. Neither Sharaf DG or service provider accepts no liability for loss or data corruption howsoever caused.

    Before submitting a mobile device for repair, customers should back up their data, disable Find My iPhone (FMI), Find My Mobile (FMM) or Find My Device (FMD) and remove any lock or password. By submitting the device for service, the customer consents to repairs being carried out by a qualified technician, including opening the device, if necessary, without requiring further approval. If the customer device serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed, or the device has failed due to accident, abuse, liquid spill or submersion, neglect, misuse (including faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than the brand or a brand authorized service provider, service provider will return your device without servicing it and may charge the customer an Inspection Fee. The time it takes customers to provide device information or obtain approval / any PIN/Password/consent etc. or obtaining related accessories or peripherals are not included in the repair turnaround time (TAT). Liquid and drop-damaged devices that are partially functioning may during the diagnosis or attempted repair become inoperable due to unseen damage and movement of required components during the repair. Sharaf DG or the service provider will not be held responsible for a device becoming beyond economical repair during assessment or attempted repair. Incase the repair was not covered under warranty; the customer will be offered a quotation from the service provider with a date validity of 7 days. While registering the devices, Sharaf DG will ask you for certain details that we require to perform the service. This includes your name, mobile number and email address and may also require your device password to access your device to complete the service.

    Out-of-Warranty Repair Fees

    If the service provider determines that the product is no longer under warranty, they may offer to repair it for a fee.

    An initial quotation will be provided based on the preliminary check, but if additional damages are identified upon diagnosis, a revised final quotation will be issued, covering all required parts. The service provider or Sharaf DG will inform the customer of the repair cost and will not proceed with the repair until full payment of the estimate is received. Payment must be made in full before the repair process begins. Customers are not obliged to accept this offer and can have the product returned without repair. If the quotation is rejected by the customer, the service center may reserve the right to charge the customer an Inspection Fee, the device will be returned unrepaired once the inspection fee is paid by the customer. Out-of-warranty repairs may take longer time, depending on the availability of the required spare parts.

    * Carry-in products refer to items that a customer can physically bring to a service center, store, or authorized repair location for repairs, e.g., Mobile, IT and photo, small domestic appliances, gaming consoles, Televisions under 60 inches etc.
